Description:
At 100-years-old, Dr. Howard Tucker has been recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world's oldest practicing doctor. Following a more than seven-decade career, capped off by a stint teaching neurology to medical residents at Cleveland's Street Vincent Charity Medical Center, Dr. Tucker begins to slow down and grapple with aging for the first time. Told through the eyes of his grandson, the film follows their journey through a changing medical landscape as their relationship deepens and dynamics shift.Biography:
Taylor Taglianeti is the founder and president of the National Organization of Italian Americans in Film & Television and impact marketing manager at the Columbus Citizens Foundation. She is also a Webby-winning director/producer. Under her production company Half House Productions, Taylor also produced the short documentary Heirloom, starring Isabella Rossellini, which premiered at the Los Angeles-Italia Film Festival. The film, directed by Emmy-nominated Michela Maria, is about a mother and daughter who set out to discover why Italian Americans continue to have a deep connection to gardening. Taylor’s career in filmmaking began at the age of fifteen when she directed the short documentary Generation Hollow. The film won the Juror’s Choice for Outstanding Filmmaking at the Women of African Descent Film Festival and eerily foreshadows the current crisis of how AI is challenging humans in the arts.
