Federico Faggin is one of the greatest minds of our time. He founded several successful companies, yet he remains largely unknown to the general public. Born in Vicenza, Italy, Faggin emigrated to California, where his brilliance would go on to revolutionize the tech industry. But his path was far from smooth. At one point, Intel even tried to claim credit for his inventions–a saga worthy of a novel. For the past twenty years, he has devoted himself to exploring the intersection of quantum physics, consciousness and spirituality. 

Biography:

Marcello Foa is a journalist and university professor. He served as president of RAI from 2018 to July 2021 and has hosted the program “Giù la maschera” on Rai Radio 1. He also teaches communication in the master’s programs at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan and the Università della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano. Foa began his journalism career at il Giornale under the mentorship of Indro Montanelli, where he held various roles including foreign editor, special correspondent, geopolitical analyst and head of the newspaper’s Web site. He also contributed to the BBC for a decade. In 2011, he was appointed CEO of the Corriere del Ticino Group in Switzerland, with the mission of transforming the traditional publishing house into a modern, multi-platform digital media company. In 2018, he was appointed president of RAI, with responsibilities spanning international and institutional relations and the oversight of internal control activities. He has also acquired solid experience in the audiovisual sector, including serving on the board of the European Broadcasting Union.
