WAR AND PRIEST

FRIDAY 10/24, 4:00 PM (SESSION 21)

[watch trailer]
Director: Karin-Bam Stowe

Producer: Hanna Adcock

Description:

In the country of Georgia, over 25,000 young men have become priests within the last two years. This is not for the purpose of religion, but to dodge mandatory military conscription. War and Priest follows the Church of Biblical Freedom and its challenging of the Georgian government and patriarchy. As tensions with Russia rise and protests break out, the harsh reality of untrained military conscripts facing war comes to light.
