Description:

One of the main symptoms of COVID-19 is the loss of the sense of smell. Sometimes, the loss of smell could last for weeks, months, or even be permanent. This documentary investigates how the life-affirming pleasure of smell can be restored to COVID-19 survivors, discussing the power, versatility, and the crucial function behind this sense.

Biography:

Cosima Dannoritzer is a German documentary filmmaker and producer. Her work revolves around the topics of science and technology’s impact on history and society. She is a member of the European Film Academy and has previously worked in broadcast television, including the BBC. Dannoritzer’s award-winning documentary, The Light Bulb Conspiracy was broadcast widely.

Ségolène Dujardin is a French filmmaker and the CEO of Découpages, a documentary production company in France. Her work at Découpages focus primarily on investigative reporting, scientific discoveries, and defending human rights.

Fabrice Papillon is a French journalist, writer, and film producer. His writing, research, and film production concerns topics of scientific achievement, ethics, and philosophy.
