Biography:
Shalini Kantayya is an American award-winning filmmaker who specializes in documentary and feature films that primarily discuss scientific research. Kantayya was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance, Critics’ Choice Award, an NAACP Image Award, and twice for the Emmys. Her films, Coded Bias, TikTok Boom, and Catching the Sun, have been broadcasted on PBS, released on Netflix, and featured in Sundance and SXSW. Kantayya also directed for National Geographic, NOVA, and Youtube Originals. She is also a TED Fellow and Fulbright Scholar.
Ross Dinerstein is an American producer and the founder and CEO of Campfire, an Emmy-winning production company. His projects include documentary and feature films, including Jiro Dreams of Sushi and Heaven’s Gate: The Cult of Cults. Dinerstein’s films have been shown at Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festical, and SXSW and distributed via Netflix and HBO.
Danni Mynard is an American Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker whose work discusses global issues, such as infectious disease and social division.
