PRESS CONFERENCE
announcing the
UNAFF 2005

The eighth annual United Nations Association Film Festival
showing thirty-two outstanding documentaries by international filmmakers. The selected films showcase topics from Afghanistan, Armenia, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, the Chagos Islands, China, Congo, Cuba, East Timor, Germany, Haiti, India, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Mozambique, Nepal, Nicaragua, North Korea, Pakistan, the Philippines, Poland, Russia, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda, the UK, the USA and Zambia. UNAFF celebrates the efforts of documentary filmmakers in the fight for international peace, justice and dignity for all people around the world. The theme for UNAFF 2005 is “A STATEMENT OF HOPE AND COURAGE.”
